Another one for Jamieson

Giving him the MoTS and Williamson the MoTM would be a fair compromise I reckon, though both deserve both awards.

If Jamieson played the Australia series last season would NZ have won a test? I suspect not given how poorly we batted but it's intriguing to think how he would have fared given how much more effective he seems than the rest of the attack atm.
Definitely a chance IMO. Wagner was already bowling beautifully and Southee put in some excellent spells too. Jamieson in this form would have been a handful. As India have shown, if you're bowling them out for 200 rather than 400 in the first innings, even with a crap batting lineup, you only need one or two guys to stand up to jag a Test win.

It's very helpful that Jamieson excels against left-handers, as sometimes I fear we're too reliant on Boult for their wickets.

I see it’s been the Kyle Jamieson show today. Not bad for a guy whom Cricinfo classes as “right arm
Medium”.

The Williamson-Jamieson contest for MoTM is the most interesting thing about this match, Kane brought himself on for a cheap tailend wicket.

Any opposition will be super happy if NZ drop Jamieson for Ajaz. The "don't go without a spinner" doesn't apply when the quality disparity is high.
