It is interesting how Ashwin's batting has declined while his bowling has improved overseas. On a terminal decline now with not much hope of improving. Will take this version of Ashwin though.

Ashwin has the 5th worst batting average for all batsmen with at least 4 test 100s.

If Umesh is not fit, it will be a dream debut for nattu out of nowhere. Playing all 3 formats in the space of one tour will be incredible for a guy who made it to the top from tnpl.

Realistically speaking, its gonna be Rohit and Saini for Mayank and Umesh. Rohit is an ace slip fielder so at least that aspect will get better, although thankfully both Gill and Siraj look like guys who can take their catches at least.
