Did you see their nakedness the previous two days also? Seriously, **** off with that attitude. Don't watch another ball if it hurts so much. The guys are already away from home and family in stressful times, the last thing they need is fairweather fans like you.
Haha. Players who will act all macho with attitude during ipl but when it comes to the test cricket, where is the devotion.. so many dropped catches this tour, not just this match. Compared to 2008 these are boys who were caught with their pants down.

I don't think there is much of a disparity in batting quality now compared to then. There were class batsman then and thee are class batsman now. I think conditions have been favorable to the bowlers this decade though

I think Cummins is McGrath's equal in the long term. Big call but if he stays fit, he may end up among the higher echelon of fast bowlers such as Marshall, Steyn, McGrath, Hadlee etc. Haze fell away a bit before getting back to his best shape in the Ashes and his numbers will improve. Starc has the x factor and this attack covers all the fast bowling attributes there is and some one like Green could make it even more efficient by sharing the work load but i wont write too much in to it cos blokes in his age can have all sort of long term injuries so he should be managed.

Regardless of how good Lyon is, Warne will always make that attack superior though
Let's take a look (batting only):

Australia then >> Now
India then >> Now
WI then>> Now (that's not saying much)
Pak then>> Now
Nzl then < Now
SL then > Now
Eng then>/= Now
RSA then > Now

The Indian team didn't do that well in new zealand either did they.. questions need to be asked.. it's not like they are the best thing since swiss cheese

I remember De Villiers' innings in a similar situation a few years ago. It was counterattacking when you have **** on the board. I think that's what Kohli tried to do today. Just goes to show how special and difficult those kind of innings are. De Villiers won SA that match iirc.

What I also don't like is the culture of not asking tough questions.. did any one ask kohli why he promoted Bumrah yesterday after bowling the kid all day? Did they ask him why he selected Shaw? Love KL.. he is sweet.

India's catching has been even more abysmal than our batting this test match. Deserving losers for sure. Need to take this on the chin and improve.
Just saw highlights of India's fielding, like seriously wtf?? Very poor catching/fielding indeed!!

I feel for Shami... He could have taken wickets.. guy was gonna make a difference. This is going to be hard for India now.

Australia will rack up very high scores given Ashwin's overall Australia record, Bumrah being out of form and Umesh being Umesh and so this is a big chance for Siraj to stamp his mark. He has the capability to take wickets at A Team level so let's see what he's got.

Ok I’m over it, I’ve accepted 4-0 but I really want to watch cricket and I’m keen to see how some of our guys like Bumrah and the young ones go.

Bring on the next test.

I'd take the McWarne attack personally. McGrath/Gillespie > Starc/Hazlewood. Cummins >>Lee. But Warne >>Lyons. And imo, McWarne and co bowled against better batting (generally). India, Pakistan, WI (sad to say), South Africa, England (probably) had better batting lineups then, than they do now. Still, this Australian attack is something special and to produce such a great attack in short order, makes he hate (jealous) of Australia even more (jk about the hate part)
I feel like hazlewood has turned a corner in the last 18 months. I thought he spent a good two years or so being quite average with that terrible line that bowled on the batsmen’s hips

Agreed. Of all the Aussie bowlers I like Haze the most. I don't know why. Love his action and consistency.
