Can the commentators for one moment stop furiously ejaculating over Cameron Green and let him exist?

The way Rahane props forward and goes hard at the ball like that. I know this generation of Indian batsmen are not so supreme against spin as the previous, but how do you end up with a technique like that there?
lots of flat pitches in Ranji and limited overs cricket is what catches selector's attention. So lots of hard hands and hitting through the line. Lots of spinners are also resorting more to bowling darts rather than tossing it up.

Some of the Ranji pitches can be grassy, with medium pacers getting hooping swing. So this generation tends to play the moving ball better than the spinning one weirdly enough. But pace+bounce and drift+turn are combinations they don't handle as well.

A score of 310 - 320 in first innings is not bad considering slow outfield and very good bowling, which looks quite far.
