It’s actually a really nice oval. The old school stand is quality and the deck normally plays pretty well. Young bloke made 40 odd there a couple of years ago agains to a decent attack - was one of his rare decent digs of the past few years.

I really like the balance of the Thunder, me being someone who doesn't think it's a big deal that Cutting and Sams are 6/7. Hearing that Billings and Milne are coming in is pretty exciting as it'll replace the Holt/McAndrew weak links. They really oughta do well

I was shitting on the thunder lineup pre the game and I still stand by that, it's a batsmen short, and you can't rely on same/cutting/green playing a blinder down the order all that often.

Davies for green solves the balance issues imo, you already have 2 good spinners, and Davies can throw down an over or two of off-spin of needed.

i really think that the shorter the format, the more important your 8th-11th best players are.

generally pretty strong from memory. A lot of my mates have played in recent years for Parra and Camden have usually been there or thereabouts
