And Young's out
Strangled down the leg side. Someone watching at the ground said on Caribbean cricket.com that they've all bowled quite well and were unlucky with the new ball. I guess that's the challenge with just seeing boundaries or wickets, you don't see the build up of deliveries.

Stoked Rachin is doing well! It's promising how many of our young guys have performed against touring sides in the warmup games in the last few years.

The camera seems to be set at quite a low angle so may be affecting my perception, but it doesn't look like the WI seamers were running in overly hard.

Ravindra gets a go on his first non-emerald green pitch of the season and scores a 100. Obviously just a practice game, but whoever picked him in the draft might have some reason for optimism come the autumn leg of the Plunket Shield.

Saw ball by ball of Ravindra's inning and boy did he bat well.... the WI bowlers were steaming in, did bowl fair number of bumpers. Outside of the fours and sixes he played some serious shots that will probably not make the highlights but absolute quality. One cover drive and a back foot flick to a length ball was out of the world. The boy looks world class when he's scoring. Outside of the shots the way he sways to short balls, I think that is a skill very few have.

From what I saw there were not too many loose balls, maybe couple or three down leg and maybe few balls with some width otherwise their bowling is looking fine. Just that the deck was slightly in favour of batsman and our boys played really good positive cricket. Maybe they planned to bat like this by choice.

William Young looking in absolute great touch too, not to discount him because he didn't get a big one. If Young makes the side there's no doubt he will score heaps.

Conway is just conway... Feels like he's being served underarms.

Ravindra's dad desperately trying to convince Michael Rae and the other 12th man to go for a long 3-day walk then.
Don't think that'll help, a 3 day game is I thought never considered a proper first class.

Three day games can definitely get First Class status; when they're warmups in this way they tend to use more than 11 players per side though which effectively ensures they can't (unless they're official concussion/covid/call-up replacements).

That’s just great to hear. Both in terms of Ravindra and the Windies bowling which should make them a better proposition compared to the last 2 tours.
