Nice to see Breetzke score runs. The Warriors where never going to be competitive with 6 players out for covid.

Agreed.

Just such a pity MB couldn't find 1 willing partner from Moore, Second and Smuts

This morning was a joke how none of the tailenders fought for him.

Nice to see Keegan Peterson get runs. Unfortunate from Erwee getting out on 199. Not a good looking batting performance from the Lions though. And Dala getting the Titans home against the Cobras is amusing. :)

Still so many spots open for me in the test top 7 that if you score runs in the next few weeks you could get a spot. Especially someone like Keegan Petersen (#3).

A SA Team with Linde, Maharaj at 7/8 is not terrible at the moment. It would be great with Mulder/Linde/Maharaj at 7-9. 2 of Rabada/Ngidi/Nortje taking up the pacer spots.

What's the story behind Snyman, is he any good?
Fair play to him. Did well at Semi-pro in Kimberley (not really cricket playing country like it once was).

Think he did well against touring English.

But realistically I think down the line who knows he could build a niche in T20

Bowls decent darty off-spinners and gives it a biff.

Been thinking about this a bit... I don't think that Faf should come back considering everything. The only 3 players at this stage that should be given spots is Elgar, de Kock and Rabada. Rest should be based on form from 4-day competition. + Nortje and Ngidi but need to show more still.

I'm with StephenZA here. Faf is 36? I don't see the need now. I know the experience argument can be put into play but I think it's time to bite the bullet.

Okay I said my bit on faf but I'm sure he will be picked. Who are we looking at for the remaining spots? de Bruyn putting his hand up again.

I'm with you guys.

It didn't really work v England for Faf. Whilst it would be slightly disappointing he doesn't get to retire at a good time in front of the fans is unfortunate & it won't be happening now will it ?

Markram, P.Malan, Hamza, de Bruyn, vd Dussen, Bavuma are the players wondering will they back me (still/again) ? This here is case and point of our failures. We haven't had at least 5 or 6 out of top 7 locked for a number of years now.

Petersen of the uncapped players probably the most likely for a debut. I would actually put J.Malan/Verreynne here too.

I don't think Erwee, Moore, Second are realistically in their thinking.

Of the youngsters van Tonder & Ackerman were in the enlarged squad so they could be in the mix. Mulder ? Just seems to have gone so quiet. Breetzke/Roelofsen/Qeshile need big 4-day domestic seasons to become serious candidates.

What you want or what you think they will do ?

Always one that I confuse myself with. Basically keeping the same lot who have failed ?

Looks like Dupavillon has re-injured his hamstring. Think that is me basically moving on from him despite our lack of 140kph bowlers who can bowl in both formats.

Seven white players there - will they go for that? If not then maybe Malan out, Hamza in, and Markram to open.

And to clarify, that's what I think they'll do rather than what I want, which I'm not quite sure of at the moment.

They have got so much to think over. If Mpitsang keeps to his word that he wants to think ahead with selections then we may get a surprise or 2.
