Anderson, Broad and Woakes are ahead of Archer for me and were before this game. Archer is only bowling mid 80s and isn’t getting any movement in the air or off the pitch. His lines and length aren’t as good as Woakes either. They may want to pick all four still which I’m ok with. But the spinner would be Leach for me.

Archer brings something unique to the table that Woakes can't, he's probably had an indifferent game here but was a class apart in the first match.

Nah we don't. He's a long term prospect who we need to stick with in all conditions. Think he'll need some close man management too, keep his confidence up.
He has too high a ceiling not to back completely. I wish the scrutiny on him could be tempered a bit after he's had such high highs in a short career so far.

Seriously, the footwork of our middle order is embarrassing. So many lbw's with the front foot barely outside the popping crease. The batting coach has not done a good job in the last 2 matches. I hate to say it, but it does appear that whatever Floyd Reifer touches goes wrong......
