Sorry bad keeping ffor me, point is not to slip and maintain balance for me, certainly better than an half-chance.

WI bowlers doing a good job maintaining some control. Chase bowling well here. They're too far behind in the game for it to matter much, but good to see.

The windies almost don't want to be taking wickets here with how these 2 are struggling against the spin. They need to learn how to rotate strike better. Too easy for them to get pinned down

Yeah I suspect Root will come in and make run scoring look much easier (and get out loosely for 45(55) because Root) once a wicket goes.

Lol at England openers slow scoring when they need to go big...bring on the Ashes with that mindset :)

The more I see of Chase, I think he's definitely better than "merely serviceable". WI need to go all pace attack unless it's in Asia or a really spin-friendly pitch, suits their strengths much better IMO.

Tbf I think England have been calling out for old school openers who don't give their wicket away mind-sets. These 2 batsmen don't really have gears to go through. So it will be greater risk cricket for them and they not so good at taking risks. They will be forced too soon though depending on pushes from the changing room you imagine.
