*Official* West Indies Tour of England 2020

Whatever it takes!!!
I almost posted Chase trolling out one or two will be fun, then settled to put only one as it was close to lunch.

If they give a 8 fer to Chase here, England deserve to lose their test status really.

These wickets aside, Chase is a good man to have around in the team. If he can start averaging a steady 35-40 with the bat while providing useful spin, he'd a very useful asset to this WI team.

Arachnodouche

International Captain
Roach has looked underwhelming this tour everytime I've turned the telly on. Admittedly didn't watch him bowling well on day 2 of the last game, but his MO needs a harder pitch than what's been dished out so far.

Gets on a roll as soon as I type that too.

International Regular
nah it's just damp so the ball is gripping. the turn'll go away as it dries out and hardens
They makes sense, might be hard to score runs until the pitch dries out as well. Holder will be harder to face with extra bounce and ball not coming on to the bat.

Thats not the point Burgey is making. There's a romantic tint of viewing the Windies hey days

Which is what I meant in my last line in that post there.

Bugger.

jeez that?s ragging. Is the deck a bit Khawaja?

Damp tracks tend to help turn, especially finger spinners. May flatten out with a bit of sunshine but right now, its a great deck for someone like Chase. Not sure if Bess will get the same assistance.

Jack1

International Debutant
Brain fade from Crawley .
He was giving slip practice there..right off the face of the bat

Two soft dismissals. England in a bit of trouble

I will never ever be able to take Root seriously with that look. Chase is looking to deploy a sixties field setting with an appropriately accompanying lack of spin.
