About 45%, which seems to be a record for a 3 (or more) match series.I believe he scored around 65% of the total team runs that series.
Yes, thanks for the correction. I was high last night when I posted that.About 45%, which seems to be a record for a 3 (or more) match series.
It's balls/hour, which is effectively equivalent to overs/six hour day. Line is 10 innings running average.i assume that's normalized to six-ball overs?
The y axis is labeledi assume that's normalized to six-ball overs?
Not surprised he'd be a good distance runner, **** bowls all day without seeming to get tired. Then drinks all night and still has the energy to physically assault bystanders.https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/crick...ween-the-wickets-hes-a-decent-distance-runner
Say what you like about him but he's an incredibly fit, driven sports person. Not many more mentally strong cricketers in my lifetime
An interesting observation. While not remotely suggesting the term "international" applies to my personal experiences, I thought nothing of bowling 10-15 over spells (8 ball overs) as an opening bowler yet there is no way I could run a half marathon. I was more of a 400 metre runner (440 yards back then) who relished the rest at fine leg between overs.I thought being able to run a half marathon at a decent clip would be standard for an international fast bowler
Exactly right. Not surprised he'd be a good distance runner, **** bowls all day without seeming to get tired. Then drinks all night and still has the energy to physically assault bystanders.
