The sad thing is, even I got a reply when I whinged to the moderator email about Harsh rightfully giving me an 8 pointer for referencing a particular organ indirectly. Despite how rude and needlessly hostile I was.

I miss the Harsh days of moderation. We really didn't appreciate it enough.

Why was Shri banned?

He made a very slight oblique reference to wishing another poster (since perma banned) dead in (iirc) the India Politics thread. Presumably that poster took umbrage and reported him.

Of course this was in the pre-TNT - D/L era when thoughts such as wishing others would drink bleach weren't as widely and freely expressed as the are now. In that sense he was a trail blazer.

Then he made a very transparent multi, for which he copped a much longer ban.

PEWS to correct me if I'm wrong, but the original email was basically "everyone wants me back, that guy was a **** anyway, don't be ridiculous, let me in" which really doesn't deserve a response in my mind. He brought it up again in Cricsim and PEWS basically told him just that and he told us all to go **** ourselves. His second email was 3 days ago and a bit nicer. We've been discussing a response and a resolution was decided on.

I really like the guy and he knows it, but this **** isn't helping.
