I will go safe with David Murray.
I actually forgot about the fact that Bruce Edgar is a wicketkeeper. So despite what I said before, it turns out you didn't need to select a 'keeper in R14. You can pick someone else for Murray if you like. Might I recommenced you add an all-rounder to your squad? (You currently have no all-rounders). Intikhab Alam, Madan Lal or Eknath Solkar would be better options imo.

I'll go with Alam

I dunno how comfortable Edgar will be keeping up to potentially 2 leggies in a game.

Mullets of Modernity won by 5 wickets

Man of the match: Imran Khan

A drastic lower-order collapse from TQM, followed up by a blistering innings from Boycott, of all people, sees the Mullets home in our opening game. Imran on fire, whilst poor John Traicos didn't get the opportunity to bowl.

Botham's performance was all kinds of awesome... And Boycott.. Nawaz and Jimmy Amarnath should not have bowled 8 overs. Poor captaincy there.

Result. Lever the only anomaly in that standout bowling performance, but hardly out of the ordinary for one bowler to get some tap.

'Boycott of all people' is harsh. He might be inexperienced in the format but someone with 150 first class tons is probably just good at hitting a ball with a stick.

Bit harsh, yes, I am a fan of Boycs as much as the next person. He probably thinks T20 is rubbish & decided to go the tonk.

Honest Hunks

'79 Supersonics

Honest Hunks won by 96 runs.

Man of the match: Bruce Yardley

An emphatic win for Honest Hunks. Yardley the unlikely hero an numerous occasions throughout his spell. The Supersonics just could get any decent partnerships going outside of Gatting/Irvine who put on 39.

Yep.. good contributions all around with both bat and ball. A real team effort. With an outstanding hand from Yardley.

It's amazing that knock from Botham...batting with the tail and having to respect PM Khan....And tonking probably Lever in the death overs. Just miraculous.
