Just been stage 4'd so updates are welcome.

De Zorzi really struggled v Piedt.

Think there is loads to work with for Ntini. Impression I have got this season is totally to different to before it.

I think the Titans are ahead on DLS now. Cobras have bowled Piedt out hoping for more wickets but Elgar has been steadfast. Now having to get through the 5th bowler and it is costing runs.Cobra need wickets now or else Titans are going to canter this.

And Thomson out lbw... I swear they drew a beard on Markram and sent him out. Very similar dismissal.

Elgar taking this game away from the Cobras... quality innings. Such an underrated LO player.

Used to love watching young Elgar and Rossouw bat together for the Knights when they were the next 2 with big chances for the top. Used to put on big partnerships.

So the Titans and Knights are forcing the Warriors to have to beat the Cobras on Saturday to confirm 3rd Spot.

I called Jansen the saffer Bruce Reid a while back, these last few posts only reinforce that opinion. Similar height, build, pace probably too
100%

Think he could be the re-incarnation of Bruce Reid

Great for him and Gerald Coetzee to work with Allan Donald at franchise level.

Good play from the Titans in the end.

Strange to think Cobras bottom of log, Warriors will probably lose to them on Saturday now.... (Gambiring anyone!)

I want to see the Warriors make it because of certain players but you could see the pressure get to them :D

Hopefully not.

Titans v Knights only Sunday. Tough one to call but Titans batting probably gives them the edge.

Looks like there will be 2 SFs this year.

Going into the last 3 round-robin games this weekend.

Dolphins 30
Lions 24
Warriors 19
Titans 18
Knights 17
Cobras 8

From that. First 2 already have home SFs. Warriors should have 1 SF spot so it will be a shoot-off between Titans and Knights on Sunday for the last SF spot.

I hope Rickleton and Roelofsen will be the South African opening partnership one day. In part because they both look quality young players, but also because have an partnership of RickRoel would open up good meme potential

Tight single. Great 50 from Roelefson. Looks really good player.
He really is class. Him and Rickelton opened for SA Schools together whilst Janneman and Marques only made SA Colts in the same year but all were same age and SA u19.

Can't be overstated but whilst Gauteng have always been producers of high quality in numbers but to produce the following for SA U19 in a short period is something else.
By year born
1995 : Kagiso Rabada (St Stithians)
1996 : Grant Roelofsen (KES), Ryan Rickelton (St Stithians), Marques Ackerman (St Stithians)
1997 : Tony de Zorzi (KES) , Ricardo Vasconcelos (St Stithians), Brandon Glover (St Stithians)
1998 : Wiaan Mulder (St Stithians), Josh Richards (St Stithians), Conor McKerr (St Johns)
1999 : Wandile Makwetu (St Stithians)

And you have guys like Temba Bavuma (St Davids) Quinton de Kock (KES), Devon Conway (St Johns) and Bryce Parsons (KES) either side of the above.
