Bowled really well, should have had short out 2 times so far.Shamsi's figures really don't do him justice.
We certainly don't want him to be predictable so I'm all for him growing to add options. It was just so frustrating because before the WC he was building up a good body of work before getting injured and then rushed back for the WC.When he first started he bowled fuller and used to come in at the stumps, pretty accurately. And then occasional get a ball to nip off the seam away. Now he seems to attack the stumps less and bowling shorter and slower? Hopefully he gets back to a more accurate line and length. And if he gets his speed up again would be great. even to a 140 rather than 135 would make a big difference.
Just to add thing that they where talking the other day that they where working on his wrist position so that he could take it away more? Maybe that is why he is just not quite what he was as he gets used to it, but maybe make him far better long run.
Might be the consolidation of the innings by these two batsmen...as wellThis wicket has gone 2 paced very quickly, seems a completely different deck then it was when Australia first started batting.
Yeah. I was waiting for this to maybe happen. But I really doubted it would. A fairly big ground though for plenty 2s and some 3s.This wicket has gone 2 paced very quickly, seems a completely different deck then it was when Australia first started batting.
No ball is doing a ton more then it was at the start of the innings, looked like road for the first few overs.Might be the consolidation of the innings by these two batsmen...as well
300 is still very much on the cards if short takes advantage of there chances and stays around.Yeah. I was waiting for this to maybe happen. But I really doubted it would. A fairly big ground though for plenty 2s and some 3s.
Still got to try get close to 300.
The old 'balls' in the hands of the spinner...No ball is doing a ton more then it was at the start of the innings, looked like road for the first few overs.
Yeah, the baking of the wicket. idkEven ngidi was getting a ton of movement, it's not just the spinners.
