Australia have gone looking for far too much on a good wicket.

Ngidi been awesome.
What is it about him taking wickets? Are the batsmen really just struggling with that little bit of extra bounce he gets? Even his pace is overall down nowadays and he does not look that threatening.

I would say the height and the angle he gets in. Oddly a ball drastically moved in through the air and carried on off the pitch now now from no where.

The speeds have concerned me too. If he could get back to India series 145kph area , he could be even more potent. Sometimes you can sit in on the back foot to him with the lack of pace and hack him over leg now.

When he first started he bowled fuller and used to come in at the stumps, pretty accurately. And then occasional get a ball to nip off the seam away. Now he seems to attack the stumps less and bowling shorter and slower? Hopefully he gets back to a more accurate line and length. And if he gets his speed up again would be great. even to a 140 rather than 135 would make a big difference.

Just to add thing that they where talking the other day that they where working on his wrist position so that he could take it away more? Maybe that is why he is just not quite what he was as he gets used to it, but maybe make him far better long run.

Looking back that was a really hard ball to cop first up for labuschagne, full, low and cramped him up, still a **** shot but was nowhere near as bad as Smith or Warner.
