I mean fair is fair labuschagne can't be blamed either, South Africa fielded like demons and suffocated him and Smith for boundaries for 20 overs, run rate was getting over 6.5 an over and labuschagne saw a chance to score, just as much Smith's fault for refusing to take 5/10 easy singles or risk dispatching the ball to the boundary, he's a good odi player but Smith is selfish as ****, as the senior batsmen pressure is on him to guide the run chase and he ****ed it up beyond belief.

He is a bit obsessed with making runs. Its working for him now and is probably the reason he is this good, but I can easily see it all blowing up and going south for him very soon and very fast too. I was actually thinking his ban came at the right time as it would help him cool off from the game and not take it THAT seriously anymore and for a while it seemed to be true but slowly he is starting to get into the complete cricket mode I feel. If they make him captain sometime next year, that will complete the journey.

Imagine thinking a bloke’s determination to make runs is going to make his career go south when he’s been doing it for over half a decade and averaged over 60. It’s just hilarious, and blatantly obvious wishful thinking on your part because your own hero can’t get it off the square across the ditch at the moment and isn’t a patch on him.

We can all see it in you mate, just own it. Doing so won’t make anyone respect you (it’s far too late for that to happen) but you’ll be able to say you’re being your own username with yourself

I dunno, MMarsh averages 35 & throughout the 2010s Australia's number 5 position averaged 35 in ODI cricket, so he's right on the mark. I would have used Carey there as I think finding out whether Carey truly can be a 5/6 in ODI cricket should be the main priority right now, but I think Marsh is perfectly fine there.

(In fact, I probably would have used Short at 5 before MMarsh too, because you may as well give him a real shot if you're gonna play him)

And said nothing about his impact on a particular game, obviously making a general observation. Apparently that is a stupid post coz one person does not agree with it...

I mean I know I can only expect stupid and idiotic **** from you when responding to me, but this is like a zillion levels worse. I know you want to call who is my hero and who isn't, but if you had any sense of reading the post before responding based on your biased idiotic judgement of posters here, you will realize I never said anything about his innings in the game or even his batsmanship overall. I have always lived up to my username. Of course, that can be hard to figure out for you, coz you are busy defending your hero from the most generic observation which is not even claiming he is not a good batsman or finding a way to be happy at someone's failure, that is just a refllection of your sad self than anyone else here.

And HONESTly, you should be the last one to talk about anyone having any kind of respect here, seeing as you have nobody's.
