catching is poor this WC, but from my experience in these past two years the players on NZ, England, Australia and India at least are generally very safe hands

Think it's just the added pressure of the event. It's also probably why they aren't rotating strike as effectively.

Defendable total thanks to Radha there at the end. Always feel they should cross 145 after the starts they get though. They seem to get bogged down, struggle to rotate the strike after 10 overs and spoon a lot of shots in the air.

the getting bogged down is common at this level of cricket (associate/women's) because the batters lack the skill/power to clear the ropes frequently. The powerplay is always the most productive phase of a batting innings.

India does have Kaur and Jemimah in that middle order tho, they're usually quite good but not in great form this tournament yet.

Highest successful runchase of this WC so far is 128, but that was by NZ, and there have only been 9 games, so pretty even atm i reckon.

Pakistan chased 128 with 10 balls to spare. This should be doable but I really know nothing about NZ's batting.

India still favourites but one more boundary for NZ and it could get interesting.
