Australian Domestic Season 2019/20

From what I've seen of Green's bowling I suspect he would generally operate in the mid 130s, capable of hitting 140 at times but not consistently so. But being about 6'7 he extracts real bounce and can get some good h00p away from the right hander. Definitely looks like he has what it takes to get quality batsmen out, as exciting as his batting is I still believe Green is a bowling allrounder first and foremost
Ide rather have him be a bowling all rounder aswell but green himself had said in interviews that he always considered himself a batsmen first going up, and only fell back on his bowling when his batting alone wasn't good enough to get him in the shield team, so I highly doubt he's gonna go the bowling all rounder route if he gets what he wants.

He’s only 20 and obviously still developing

Pretty impressive for a “batsman” to be picked as a bowler and average 20

Then gets injured and now averages 40 with the bat

However exciting Green's batting is, to say he has been more a batsman than a bowler at any point before this season is just not accurate

I don't know how his career will develop over the next couple of years, but anyone telling him to forget about the bowling is an absolute moron and should be kept as far away from any position of influence in the WA setup as possible

Never had much hope for Mitch Marsh as he couldn't block a straight one. I've not seen Green play but from what i've read here he seems solid and you can dream he'll be the one Australia has waited for so long. Mid 130s as a bowler is good enough, especially with his height. Big worry is that he seems to find a niggle.

I'm pretty sure MMarsh has never had anywhere near as good a FC record at any stage of his career as Green does right now.

My favourite thing about Green is that he's perfectly suited to the long game, and he's not particularly great at T20 cricket at this stage. Hopefully he doesn't get corrupted.

It'll happen for sure. PEWS will confirm it, he knows all about the inevitability of turning corrupt.

Wildermuth with 2-59 and 87 runs in the match, ensuring he's well and truly done his job as an all rounder but at the same time not doing enough to be picked for Australia.

It's only Green's first season. Give him some time for the second year blues.
He played last season too. Granted that was more as a bowler.

His production is much closer (and almost identical at the same age) to Watson than Mitch Marsh so I have more confidence in Green being good.

His window of opportunity is closing one feels. With the Marsh threat an ever constant, Stoinis's debut in Tests almost inevitable and the Cameron Green stocks rising by the minute.

Bowling all-rounders are plebs I guess so what do I know.

I just can't see Jack making it to test level. He'll be a great servant of Queensland cricket for many years, but like Hopes will not play tests unfortunately (for him). He might get a go in the shorter formats though.
