Ashwin likes to voice his displeasure when dropped but he's showing exactly why a run container like Jadeja should always play ahead of him. Nathan Lyon gets first and second day wickets. Even Moeen Ali does. Stats aside, i don't think Ashwin is as good as those two.

I like how Shami and Bumrah have been basically **** all innings and the discussion from a couple of posters is on Ashwin, who has easily been the second best bowler for India this dig. Sometimes, even the crapinfo commentators get the game better.

Shaw better go big now. Else we are done and dusted in this game, I feel. 400 is not an easy score to achieve in any test innings, no matter how flat the wicket is. Needs lots of discipline and concentration.

And Ishant needs some bloody rest. Most improved bowler in world cricket in the last 5 years for me. Amazing transformation. Fully deserved the 5fer.
