Silent Draft

Whatever it takes!!!
Coz we don't know who is gonna come up? And there is a chance that you get to fill your boots in with some ATGs next round when we are all basically done with our XIs...

AndrewB is going progressively down from top tiers to next. If it was bit randomized, would have been fun. The inter-war round was good fun. Some of you ended up with players that you would rather give up for others in subsequent rounds.

The normal awards that everyone else has
Then I wouldn't have bid all mine for Pollock. A bit late.
I think we should stick with the original rules. Choose once of the ones just picked to discard.
That won't be fair
Fair enough. I'll drop Steyn purely because I think he's more similar to both Procter and Larwood than Ambrose and Wasim, and those two will give me more variety.

Sunil Gavaskar
Barry Richards
Brian Lara
Stan McCabe
Shakib Al Hasan
Les Ames +
Mike Procter
Kapil Dev
Wasim Akram
Harold Larwood
Curtly Ambrose

That's a hell of a 5 man pace battery with good support from spinning Shakib and med pace McCabe. Strong batting with the all-rounders. Good fun draft, thanks Andrew.

Not the most balanced side but outside the subcontinent that bowling attack would be lethal.

Thanks. :) Definitely one of the strongest sides I have ever drafted. I like the amount of bowling options I will have too.
Grabbing the best batsman and best leg spinner in history for the price of roughly 4 players helped a lot.

But we all have strong sides in this simply due to the lack of players.

Yeah, HB is running away with it. Although I am happy too with my team so far especially how I was strapped for money. Funny thing that happened with me is that when I bid to grab at least one of 2 players, I got both. Happened thrice. Wanted one of McGrath or Marshall, got both. Wanted one of Smith and Tendulkar, got both. Wanted one of Murali and O'Reilly, got both!

Yeah well I ended up with 5 bowling all rounders when I only intended to get two. I got my sixth (Benaud) over Laker because I felt it reflected the team better.
