Australian Domestic Season 2019/20

He kept in the Lions dig as well, it seems.

Am going to head over after I get across to Harrolds - their suit sale starts tomorrow (this afternoon for selected clientele), and I have a substantial gift card to spend from a grateful workplace which I received upon my 50th last year.
Pics of Burgey in suit or it didn't happen.

Apologies for the poor lighting - doesn’t do them much justice.

These are four I looked at at lunch today but I had to get back to the office for a 2pm gig and I couldn’t decide* which one to get at that time

I haven't had a Caruso suit before, but the Pal Zileris are excellent - would recommend. The sale is 50% off all of them, so it's ****ing amazing.

I even ventured into the Brioni and Stefano Ricci room, but made a rapid exit. Cannot justify $5,000 on a suit, even if its in a sale and half RRP. The only exception to this rule is a Tom Ford suit I bought there in 2014 for just over $5k and it's literally the King of Suits. Like, you wear it, and people genuflect to you.

*Mrs Burgey didn’t get back to me in time to tell me which one she likes best. The later message said either far left or far right. Cribb of course will like the far right, as he does. I am heading back shortly to decide.

It ultimately depends on what your suit collection already looks like and what situations you can already cover IMO, which means CW probably can't help. Mrs Burgey needs to pull her finger out.

Funnily enough I think I actually like the far left one the most. I'm assuming you swapped them up on me to show me up as some kind of fake fascist, the worst kind of fascist.

I pretty much have most of all variations on suits tbh, they're all I wear five days a week to work. It just depends on which one I want to replace the most. I got a bespoke lighter blue one made for me for my 50th as a present from the kids, by a local tailor who was excellent. Would recommend him to anyone in the inner west. Bloke is hilarious. Hand made to measure with Italian fabric for just over a couple of grand, compared with buying big label suits at the same price off the rack which are nowhere near as durable. If anyone wants his details, let me know.

**** gives you nothing though - I bought this suit, got shirts made by him before and we take all our alterations to him - like we've dropped about $3K to this **** in the past six months - the other day I took in my new Gi for martial arts in to have the dojo badge sewed onto it and he charged me $12. I mean ffs, can't you sling a bloke something?

I might hit you up for that next time I'm suit shopping, assuming I don't have to prove my inner west residence upon entering the place. Seems like it probably beats spending $1500 on an online suit from the UK and then $300 on alterations for something that still ultimately feels like it went to the old lady sewing place down the road.

Yeah he's excellent this fella. No worries at all. it's all in the cut with suits anyway. You can get a made to measure one for a grand-$1200 and it will look miles better than anything off the rack, even the King of Suits. Fully lined strides, lapels cut to your preference, same with button positioning and sleeves. He apparently worked in Saville Row and HK before moving to a better place on the promised peninsula.

Meanwhile, Bert off to a sluggish start though NSW doing reasonably well in the run chase

I don't think I had actually seen a photo of Ben Abbott until just the other day. If I didn't know I would have never picked him as Sean's brother in a million years

Didn't he rock an attempt at a mo this year at some point? Perhaps this proves your point tbh

Funny you should say that because on the contrary the first thing I thought when I saw a picture was "That's just Sean Abbott with a beard isn't it?"

Burgey, we are used to watching grainy streams, the lighting was fine, solid choice.

Any more squads, keen to see WACAs
