Imagine giving former potential County quality batsman Dan Lawrence four (4) wickets.

Shield returns Friday!!

Assuming no one going to South Africa is available.

There are going to be some interesting selection decisions, im keen to see if BBL form makes any difference. Someone like Philippe for example.

Ballarat >>>>> Melbourne by a large margin tbh
Nah Ballarat is horrible mate. ********* weather all year round & there's always droves of ice addicts roaming around the streets in groups of 20 or larger (especially in East Ballarat & Wendouree).

I have to admit I was a little surprised by the lack of industrial strength boganisn when I went to Frankston a couple of years back. Sure the area around the train station isn't exactly somewhere I would want to be at night, but the other side around Karingal Hub where my cousin lives is just pretty much generic outer suburbia. Fairly tame compared to the Salisbury/Elizabeth corridor where I grew up in and around here in Adelaide, that really is centrelink city out there

Yeah I've heard some shocking stuff about Elizabeth.

I suspect if you payed a visit to the commission flats and/or the local skate parks you'd get a better taste of Frankston.

Yeah it's quite an experience out there, that's for sure

You know you aren't in a great neighborhood when you see such a level of Chev badges on old Commodores

Didn't help Renshaw who has been dropped.

Queensland squad: Usman Khawaja (c), Joe Burns, Cameron Gannon, Sam Heazlett, Marnus Labuschagne, Nathan McSweeney, Michael Neser, James Peirson, Bryce Street, Mark Steketee, Mitch Swepson, Jack Wildermuth

Congratulations to David Warner on all his hard work this year that has resulted in the deserving crown of Allan Border Medallist.

Absolutely sublime, words defeat me.

It's a bit crazy but when I think about it it's not surprising.

Labuschagne beat Smith to test player of the year. Probably because Smith really only dominated the Ashes, and only played 4 tests in that series. Warner did well in every format, except in the Ashes, which was only 5 tests.

I don't see the issue tbh. No one else has been anywhere near as consistent across all three formats as him, a single series aside.

Sure, Smith's performances will live longer in the memory, but that's what the Compton-Miller medal is for.
