Australian Domestic Season 2019/20

Happy to admit that I was wrong about Wes Agar

Initial reaction was that he can’t bowl at all but he’s obviously better than that
He has improved significantly from a couple of years back, now control over length especially is far better than it has been in the past. Looks like his pace is up a touch too. Been a bit surprising, but I have been loving his work this season.

I dare the Umpires to not let play resume at the SCG
Not watching atm, any of the blokes wearing face masks?

Umpires should probably just let the boys chill out in some air con and play hacky sack for the rest of the day.

It does beg the question, who is the best hacky sack domestic cricketer?

GAS, any idea why Drew played but didn't bowl? He usually bats 8 or so in Futures below Valente and Andrews, and bowls his offies. I didn't think it was that strange in the first innings given what happened there, but Bosisto getting through eight while Drew didn't bowl at all in the second innings makes his selection seem really weird to me. Surely there are better batsmen available if he was going be the sixth bowler and the second offie after Bosisto in the side.

I don't have a clue tbh, doesn't make sense to me either. Only thing I can think of is that Bosisto wasn't originally named in the squad, was a late in when Cooper was ruled out. As much as Bosisto has taken more grade wickets I would certainly rather see Drew bowling as his action doesn't make want to vomit so much. On batting alone I would probably rather see someone like John Dalton or Patty Page ahead of Drew, but it's not like there is a surplus of options at grade level

Hm, but if they genuinely thought Bosisto was a better bowler surely he'd have just been selected ahead of Drew in the first place?

Maybe he picked up an injury fielding or batting in the first innings or something.

I guess it's just typical SACA. Logic need not apply

This is a critical point in the game, these two have done well but a wicket would bring Tasmania right back into the equation

That's terrible. I've never seen such bad air quality in Australia before. Well, nowhere outside the bathroom at a big day out.
