*Official* England in South Africa 2019/20

Gremlin

U19 Vice-Captain
Well played, lovely to see a young player learning on the job. His next challenge is to avoid being over confident and giving it away.

I'm all for player safety and concussion protocol but that was ridiculous, if you haven't got a helmet ready batsmen should go off.

England have not reached 100-0 batting first in a Test since 2009.

A fond memory. That was the Lords Ashes Test where the Mitchell Johnson song was born.

That was a stinker of an innings.

Still comes off with around the same score as when he's played well though.

This very quickly went to ****.
That Bangladesh match where we got a century opening stand before being all out for about 160 still makes me get worried whenever we have a big opening partnership (doesn't really make sense I know).

Killing the game with ****wittery. Would love to see the umpire convince anyone in that ground the batsmen were having trouble seeing the ball.

I certainly would have taken that at the start of the day despite the wobble. About as good as you can expect from this top three, Stokes the only major disappointment, and then the Root-Pope partnership looking pretty legit.

Can't imagine the, to quote Sir Benjamin, ****ing four-eyed ****, took him up on his offer of further discussions on his alleged resemblance to the carrot-topped troubadour either.

I guess if you're gonna lose your match fee and/ or miss a match you may as well call someone in the crowd a four eyed ****
