Nice to see the long injury didn't dull Wood's pace. Has looked like the bowler he was always promised to be ever since the start of last year.

South Africa are vularable cricket team, you need to send DE Kock up to number 3 slot ffs if you want to save cricket match for the country
Stop making outlashing kneejerk statements in tour threads ffs. It's so much worse than you starting threads comparing two random players.

You happy with South Africa basman display on a flat pitch and you dont want questions asked about the players desire

Funny you should reply to that because I was thinking about one of your old posts when Hamza got out there.

When Roy first debuted in ODIs he was pretty terrible, but you noted (and I agreed) that he did at least seem to look better with each innings, as opposed to Hales who seemed to be getting worse. Hales was the more favoured of the two on CW at the time but you more or less convinced me Roy was more worth further investment, and I think that played out well for you.

Hamza didn't score a lot of runs in his first couple of innings but he actually looked pretty good, however he's got himself in more knots and exposed his weaknesses to analyists and bowlers as he's gone along since then.

I'm not sure that boundary by Faf was a thick edge, or steered to 3rd man. Anyway, with 250+ runs to play with, and an innings to bat if needed, there could (or should) be more hands behind the wicket, when Wood is bowling, not?

It makes sense to bring Bavuma in at the Wanderers. Hamza's body language looks a bit subdued and Temba's probably a good character to bring in for a very important test

i don't think much annoys me more in cricket than the pom commentators talking about wood like he's the second coming of lillee.

he's not that ****ing quick and he's not very good. give it a rest. stokes is scarier to face (not an insult, stokes is money).

Might have something to do with (finally) having a proper fast fast bowler, rather than millions of fast-medium swingers, losing him due to various injuries, getting him back, and still looking fast and promising.

Let those poms be happy about it!

i've only seen him face one ball but im pretty surprised 4 test veteran zubayr hamza is copping the commentary spray on behalf of the batsmen and not the more experienced players

well im not surprised really, most commentators are incompetent, but still.

Be wary of anyone who gets praised for scoring 35 in a test.

Tom Westley syndrome.

Bavuma does not bat 3. He either comes in for a bowler or Rassie. I`m guessing a bowler.
