I asked this a few years ago when Andre Russell was playing while he could barely walk, but is there something obliging teams to keep playing overseas players when they're ****? Surely there is someone in the Renegades squad who could do a better job than Gleeson.

Scorchers werent scared to drop their overseas pro (Michael Carberry from memory) a few years back.

Gleeson was last minute callup and its just proven to be a disaster. They are missing Nabi plenty. Joe Mennie is in the squad but he isnt all that special.

I think Richardson Gurney Christian Sutherland and Boyce are capable of bowling most of the 20.

Harper has definitely done his dash as opener. Maybe its time for an experienced head like Alex Doolan to come in and strike at say 110.

good win by hurricanes today.

renegades look a bit average, gleeson doesn't look up to it, and gurney's last two matches, 7-0-90-1, both need to do better.

i said this 5 days ago and things haven't changed. gleeson needs a ticket home, gurney is still not much better, and renegades still look average.

with finch & richardson due to miss games playing for australia i think they are stuffed. as a hurricane fan that pleases me greatly.

at least salt peppered the boundaries today.
