Also, McAndrew actually bowling wheels these days is bizarre, but I like it. At first I just thought it was just an optimistic speedgun, but he has done it every game this season and all the other Thunder pacers are operating at their usual range

The speedo does seem particularly optomistic in this game tbf. Siddle bowled at ball at 146km/hr in the last over of the Thunder innings. 2009 called and wants it bowling speeds back.

In saying that, McAndrew does seem visibly quicker this season. I wonder if he's actually put on a yard or if he's just trying to bowl more 'properly' instead of meme T20 variations. He was known as being fairly sharp (not express but well, like this) in grade cricket and I was disappointed when I first got a glimpse in white ball sutff.

True, no way that Siddle ball was 146, but seeing McAndrew hitting 140+ every game he's played this season makes me a bit less sceptical than I otherwise would be
