Rassie doesn't give me confidence. Slip catching looked regulation for Wessels, McMillan, Cullinan, Pollock, Kallis, Hall, Smith, de Villiers & co.I`m getting irritated about the 1st slip being to deep. Both the catches clearly reached Rassie, 1st one he just dropped, 2nd one a bit tougher. As for QDK wicket-keeping, he has always stepped towards the bowler, he watches the bowler from behind and just before the ball is bowled steps forward to get behind the wicket better. Nothing has changed. And I`m pretty confident that if this was a serious problem Boucher would be a pretty good person to fix it quickly.
What are you talking about he looks worse than his 32 average? He has done a fine job this year and has looked very good this innings. I thought the days of judging a players abulity by his technique had gone lol."Good" is probably going too far. He looks quite a bit worse than his average and his average is 32.
Definitely worth persevering with though. He's got a lot of time at the crease against good attacks, which gives him a decent chance of becoming good.
Big difference is how the runs occurred. Archer was bowling short and getting hammered. Rabada is at least getting driven and square driven, if the ball bounces or moves the batsmen is in trouble.Rabada as expensive as Archer again then.
Apparently Burns is averaging 46 since the start of the Ashes, which suggests an improvement after his first couple of series. Especially against attacks of that quality."Good" is probably going too far. He looks quite a bit worse than his average and his average is 32.

Root and Buttler for starters.Who is on the sick bed? Need to survive today to give them the night to recover before they need to bat
Buttler and Root. Plus a chance anyone else may drop overnight.Who is on the sick bed? Need to survive today to give them the night to recover before they need to bat
Still both bowling as many 4 balls though.Big difference is how the runs occurred. Archer was bowling short and getting hammered. Rabada is at least getting driven and square driven, if the ball bounces or moves the batsmen is in trouble.
But you will be driven when you have 3 slips and a gully with 200+ runs on the board. If he was getting pulled and cut every over I would be worried. The ball is coming on pretty straight at the moment.Still both bowling as many 4 balls though.
