Of his 200 wickets how many have been batsmen slogging his slow short balls because they're going to declare soon? About 80% of his wickets that I've seen have been exactly that

anyway I have no interest in watching fetus-Head bat, I'm out

this thread will have to fend for itself

Honestly this innings is why I hate how we batted again. If anything, NZ have gained momentum and our batters have all lowered their averages.

Now if we make a score it will be our bowlers making a few runs, therefore getting needlessly tired.

N00fers, Australia could declare now and win by about 280 odd. But I get what you mean.

Just have to get Aus out right on the stroke of end of play and do a world record run chase, most likely.

Easy cakes.

Meh, this only looks poor in hindsight. What’s not to say NZ get 400 batting third and a bowler breaks down? That also gives NZ confidence. It’s not like this makes it easier for New Zealand to win.

Australia will still win easily, but their decision to bat again has been fantastic for NZ.
Why? Whether they bowled or batted again, they’re still handing out a flogging. I don’t know that going to stumps tonight about 450-460 behind with another session in the field likely to come tomorrow morning will have NZ shouting the hotel bar tonight on the back of their good vibes.

Meh, it should be pretty obvious. This will be their first session win of the match.

Is this the first time we’ve had 3 bowlers in the team with 200 wickets, or did Cairns, Martin, and Vettori have 200 each when they were playing together?

I am not saying it will be easy for NZ, its just the tendancy to not bat to the best of our ability which annoys me in this situation. Plus the fact that we do this to give our bowlers a rest and its our bowlers who are batting, and potentially for a while typically just before we are all out/declare.
