I'll never get why cricket people are so eager to shorten the time when it's easiest to bat and it's hardest to field/bowl for the opposition and instead make those runs when the opposition are fresher and batting is harder

That was poor. Not at all what you expect from a batsman of his class at this stage of the match.

Australia were low-key extremely patient with the bat and were very disciplined about playing horizontal bat shots on a spongy wicket. Just can't believe Kane thought that shot was on.

So quite similar to Perth, the wicket shots themselves were aggressive.
