Man, its one thing to debate over whether Santner should be in the XI but if you don't trust him for more than a dozen overs out of a 130 odd, you are better off playing an extra batsman there.
They can both bat and bowlers are tiredWTH is this partnership?
Yeah, had to undertake remedial work again earlier in the year I think.I'm a tad surprised Kane hasn't rolled his arm over - has he had problems with his action again?

I'm guessing it was an accident, in trying to reply to a post the forum can inadvertently quote another earlier post as well, has happened to me a few times on mobile.Lol.. what does that have to do with my post about Santner?
A large part of his lack or rhythm is Williamson basically doing the captaincy equivalent of completely bbqing him. Smith and Labushagne went after him for one over. One. And Williamson ran up the white flag at the first sign of grape shot. Utterly gutless captaincy.Boult unfortunately fairly undercooked this Test. Southee is doing his work here but just looks unthreatening in Australia. Wagner is gun. CDG doing well. Santner looks in utter shambles. The NZ contingent is always happy to pile on Santner but this is the worst hes ever looked in a Test match, can't get any rhythm going at all, part of that was due to Smith and Marnus going after him well already well set but really expected him to recover after that and he hasn't. Some signs in the second session today, but 5 sessions into an innings and any useful role is gone.
