I doubt that’s true.

Must have figured it was a bad look? He was quoted by Tim Paine I think at Perth as saying he wasn't playing it because the reward to risk ratio wasn't worth the trouble.

It's probably the high IQ approach to just wear it. Far better cricket too.

Probably not the worst decision. He's seen the first bit of life on an MCG wicket since the 20s (1920s) so of course you want to bowl.

It'll probably be flatter than Ellen Page's chest by the time they get a bat, so good timing theoretically.
