“I hate that West Indian kid running out the batsman backing up in the under 19 WC.”

“Actually I think you’ll find Mankad did this to Bill Brown in 1947 and THE FACT YOU HAVE NOT MENTIONED THIS MAKES YOU A BIASED HYPOCRITE!”

This example is worse because I don't remember this random Maxwell incident. It wasnt notable or controversial like Mankad

Nah if you do something like that it’s trash imo
Yeah sure. Just more agreeing with the point you made about not seeing the incident or remembering it. I don't remember anyone talking about it here at the time

I don’t doubt HB in saying it happened. I’m racking my aged brain trying to remember it and have some vague recollection of a minor kerfuffle about it. Maybe Maxwell said wtte of he and Kohli being mates from the ipl or something?

I just honestly didn’t recall it, let alone sit there stroking my white cat thinking “I’ll ignore this. They won’t suspect a thing.”

I see some denial in here of the fact that what Shikhar Dhawan did to Shane Watson and his physique that day was unequivocally wrong.

These are bad opinions, possibly the worst.

Yeah very strange logic from HB here

not everything has to be made into a nationalistic **** fight

Forget about Mankading. If the great WG himself hadn't run out a bloke who was gardening the term Ashes would probably never have been coined.

Never heard of this either
Happened when kohli hurt his shoulder and maxwell mocked his injury when he was fielding. And then kohli had that infamous presser where he said the australian cricketers were no longer his friends. Also during the last test, when India were heading towards a win, and australia were collapsing kohli celebrated the wickets by mocking maxwell's mocking of his shoulder injury. I'm surprised people don't remember, this **** was hilarious.

Anyway, hb is wrong that Burgey is a enormous hypocrite not criticizing maxwell for making fun of an injury. Burgey is an enormous hypocrite because he himself mocked Kohli's injury.

haha he got injured thats so funny

Not that I have a dog in this fight. I find injuries, if they're not career threatening, have immense comedic value. Mark richardson's mid sweep cramp, ganguly trying to run a quick single and doing his hammy mid run, anytime a ball hits someone in the jewels, all pretty funny.

Burgey also celebrated Stoinis’ injury in the WC iirc. Very poor behaviour, thank you for bringing this up OS.

Whatever it takes!!!
Hypocrisy? This is **** posting.

Maybe just don’t assume anyone’s giving a player a pass mark when they simply either didn’t see the incident you’re carrying on about or don’t recall it.

There isn’t a conspiracy lurking everywhere mate, but it isn’t surprising you jump to that conclusion.

You’ve made about 18 leaps of what passes for logic here, and not one of them has been in the right direction. Junk.
Lol... the only plausible piece of fact from all of your **** posts in this thread is the fact that you just don't remember what happened and what you actually commented on in the match thread. And forgive me for assuming you will remember something you call "as low as you can go". I mean I know I will recollect every incident of something I find that low, like how Allan Border denied Kapil Dev water after he accidentally killed a bird while batting. But sure, go ahead and preach on about the 18 leaps of logic when the basic fact is that it was an obvious example of hypocrisy on your part. I mean, it's not surprising you will get worked up when someone calls you out on your hypocrisy but still funny.

hb,

Are you making a rational argument as to why he should emotionally dislike someone?

No, I was simply curious why one person is disliked for something while the other person is not, for the same thing. There is nothing to argue if he had just said "Dhawan", for example. He tried to bring in some rationale and I asked why he is not applying it equally for someone else. Are you making a rational argument as to why I should not ask any questions on someone's opinions?

I genuinely don’t remember what I posted two or three years back in that match thread hb. It wasn’t exactly day five Edgbaston 05 in terms of a momentous moment to me, so it would concern me a bit if I did. Anyway, I don’t give maxwell a “pass” as you put it for carrying on like a muppet.

As for Stoinis, I hardly think commenting that the only thing he’d timed well during the WC from Australia’s pov was his injury is cracking open the champagne about it, but whatever. Do as you think and please.
