Sam Curran strikes me as much more likeable than Tom. Fair assessment?

Yeah, an absolutely **** bloke IMO. Deliberately bowling four wides just to try to stop a batsman from reaching a hundred is dismal.

Suraj Randiv did that to Sehwag once apparently under instructions from his captain Tilakaratne Dishan. Worse yet, they weren't even wides, he bowled a no-ball with 1 run to win so that the boundary Sehwag hit on 99 did not count.

Think the most revealing thing about Ed Cowan was on the 'homeworkgate' tour he was pretty much the only player to come out and back the leadership team. And this was a tour where the mindset of the playing group was absolutely toxic towards the leadership.

No surprise he didn't last long after that, albeit his mediocrity should have seen him out anyway. Also was sooking publicly in response to valid criticism from Ian Chappell about his lousy Test record.

Also couldn't stand Haddin. Just came across like a tosser, especially post the 2015 WC final and after that breaking stumps incident against NZ in 08/09.

This was actually pretty funny because Sehwag's gimmick was supposedly not caring about the match situation and then he got mad about not getting his precious hundred.

There is not a SINGLE Indian batsman for whom a 100 is not important. The importance they give to it may vary person to person but everyone does attach some importance to it. Let no one ever tell you otherwise. The ones who usually say they don't care about a 100 or try to prove that they don't care about a 100 are usually trying out some schtick.

sehwag's gimmick was that he didn't like to be stuck in the 90s

not that he didn't care about 100s

everyone cares about a 100

Sehwag just liked to get his hundreds/double hundred/triple hundreds by hitting sixes, I dont think not caring about the milestone was ever his thing.

Yeah, Haddin's the obvious call. No redeeming features whatsoever. Actually makes Warner look relatively likeable in comparison.
