Why aren't there more spinner all rounders?

Mate if you’re FB posting scores and stories from the T20 WC qualifiers then you can’t be that worried tbh

If Hong Kong make it to the T20 World Cup then it will give us all something to smile about for a change
>inb4 CCP argue that systems don't play international cricket, countries do, and that the teams should merge under the single banner of China.

This is literally the fast bowling equivalent of a spinner who just tosses up pies waiting for the batsman to eventually hole out to the fielder in the deep
Yep. He just bungs it halfway down for five straight overs until someone gets bored and flaps at one.
the fact you think marathon bouncer spells are pies and compare them to odi straight breaks says more about subcontinental cricketing inferiority than anything else.

I agree with them on an aesthetics/skill perspective tbh. I don't really enjoy watching Wagner much even though I know he's pretty good.

I do think Wagner would be more effective on a "turny road" than Jadeja would be on a "bouncy road" though, so he's better than Jadeja in general IMO.

Its this kind of insecurity and toxic masculinity that breeds fast bowlers

Pretty sad to see tbh

Other than hyperspeed merchants like Lee and Ahktar I've always found spin to be more exciting to watch since I was a kid. Even.... Offies

The sporadic return of ***** from time to time serves to remind all of us just how odious he truly is.

yeah but we have differing aesthetics preferences.

if some weirdo finds a stupid way of being really good i'm all about that. pure a e s t h e t i c bowlers like jeetan patel who look great but contribute nothing can **** off.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Anyone who thinks Wagner just runs in and bangs it in short with no real thought is a casual or a troll. Dude has variations of speed, line, length and crease angle. PEWS pretty much nailed it. Sure, it may not be pretty too watch versus ***eh swing bowling, but his rage is pretty entertaining, as is the inevitable "he just bangs it in short at 135kmph ffs" from opposition supporters when their prized batsmen get out hooking.
