Australian Domestic Season 2019/20

I dunno man, Boland's been pretty useless this season too. Of course I don't think he should be near test cricket, and neither should Siddle be.
This much vaunted Victorian attack really isn't as strong as it seems. Boland is meh, Siddle's a has been, Fekete never was and even Tremain is a little bit overrated imo

They are going to bowl Patto into the dirt, I can just see it

Playing their home games in Victoria will make them seem less good than they are sometimes IMO. Boland taking 0/190 so far this season makes me strangely happy though given the stupid h4x start he had to the last season that made people start talking about him for Test honours again. He's a decent enough bowler but shouldn't really get anywhere near a Test spot.

Yeah, he really doesn't look like a Test bowler, but still has a fair bit to offer for the Vics.

Hopefully he starts turning 60s into tons at test level, otherwise when he has a form slump/ takes over the captaincy he'll end up just a slightly better Joe Root, and you'd hope for a lot more from him than that.

A lot of his ashes knocks were top scoring efforts with no actual chance of getting to the ton

Quite possibly, probably between him and Jhye Richardson with Starc having the slight edge. Heard Neser discussed too, but I wouldn't go that way, definitely prefer a bit more speed

i think it's fair to say that marnus is currently the second most reliable batsman in australia by far. he just now needs to convert a lot of these excellent 60s and 70s into 100s.

God I hope so. If this summer is going to have test tons without substance, let the guys with substance get them.

Meh he's taken a 1 fer(on a road) and a 4fer in two innings with the ball

Also you realise Starc naysayers and Patto plumpers base their opinions on more than the last 2-3 recent outings I hope. More like the last 1-2 years.

Otherwise you'd say Tom Cooper is the best Australian bat atm and Smith's in the chasing pack
