I get the feeling this WA squad will be 11/11 when it comes to international caps by season's end.

Wonder how Paris is traveling? Did rate him a few years back, but between all the injuries he hasn't always been that convincing since. Seen the odd spell where he looks dangerous but others where he has been fairly indifferent. Hope he can get a solid run at it with the red ball this season. With Dorff's back cooked again he could get himself back in the picture as our second best left arm pacer if he can be fit and firing throughout the season

I love Paris when he's swinging the new ball. Every time I've seen him bowl since his injury he's been straight up and down though.

Dorff actually suffered a similar affliction after one on his injuries.

Looks good for an upset here.

In recent years I've come to dislike WA as much as NSW/Vic, so it'll be nice to see them pumped.

Saw one Shield game where he was swinging it around (against my lot, typical) but other than that he has been pretty much gunbarrel straight

Not like a Qlder to manifest their inherent inferiority as blind hatred of better places.

Mate, north of the Tweed is God's country. Can't get any better. My dislike of other places is the same dislike a feudal Lord must have felt when forced to walk amongst the peasantry.

Absolutely it is. Miles better. Qld is the Tamil Nadu of Australia, and Brisbane its Chennai.

Qld is fine if you only stick to the tourist areas though. Of course you wouldn't want to interact with the local wildlife but there's really no reason you should need to outside of the various service industries utilised during your stay.

How often do we see spuds like Tye get a game for Australia, along with a half dozen shitbag Victorian bowlers and Neser, while Dermo Abbott carves it up in ODDs consistently but doesn't get a look in? ****ing travesty. Also should have been on the Ashes tour. If he'd played instead of Siddle we'd have won 5-0. Masterful with the red Dukes ball as well.
