I've noticed this weird kind of mentality where players will push how much they 'don't like to talk/watch cricket' when they're not playing themselves. Dan Hughes just then, Steve Smith in a recent interview I saw. I get that if it's your job you can get a bit sick of it, but I have a hard time believing all professional cricketers arent absolute CW tier snuffs, with maybe people like Andrew Symonds an exception.

It seems like a bit of an insecurity and a need to remind people you have a life outside of cricket

He always seemed pretty decent to me. If you mean his average, then yes, he hasn't taken the wickets and has a ridiculously high List A average but I wouldn't necessarily say that means he's not a good bowler in the format.

I absolutely think having an average that high over a large sample size is plenty enough to say he isn't a good bowler in the format.

If his economy rate was actually awesome rather than just decent I could see the argument for it, but it's actually higher than Lyon's in domestic cricket. If your strike rate is going to be 72 you really need to be a genius miser to be considered good, and he's not.

It's OD not T20. You need to take wickets in the middle overs and SOK has never done that
