I think it might be a good idea to have ATG XIs by players born in a particular decade.

Several 1980s born players are still work in progress, hence we could wait another 2-3 years to have that one.

Players born in 1970s XI.

Hayden
Dravid
Ponting
Tendulkar
Sangakkara
Kallis
Gilchrist
Pollock
Waqar
Murali

Haynes
Richards
Miandad
Border
Botham
Imran
Dujon
Hadlee
Marshall
Garner

Unlucky to miss out : Kapil, Qadir.

A bit of a pace overkill with Botham as 5th bowler, but unable to leave out any of the ATGs. Richards and Border to share part time spin.

Well, Sobers, Border, Akram and Davidson were all lefties. that provides a solid base to build a Southpaw XI.

What would happen first? Annoyed spectators rioting, one of them running the other out or having a meltdown?

Haven't been to a test since the early 90s, then?
