*Official* New Zealand tour of Sri Lanka 2019

Crapity crap. Can't believe KW got out that way with the 2nd slip in place.

Hard for the batsmen out there knowing you have to force a result but having to contend with reasonably bowler friendly conditions.

Williamson not wanting to see any of the replays of any of his dismissals this series. I haven't seen someone guide the ball to slip so perfectly since Ken Rutherford.

Impressive from Kumara, adds quite a bit to the attack.

Wish Taylor would look to get his eye in on this wicket before getting into one day mode.

Good battle going on between Latham and the left armer. Moments like these you feel a third test would have made it a much better tour program.

Latham's got to be the best NZ player of the sweep shot that I can remember watching. Pity about the mental frailties holding him back.

simon doull - 'colin de grandhomme doesn't score runs away from home (during a whole 3 uae tests)'

also simon doull - 'tom lathams record against test standard pace attacks doesn't matter'

Yeah this can be perfectly explained by the fact that CdG absolutely looks like he probably won't score runs away from home (especially when he's playing other formats, which Doull would of course struggle to compartmentalise) while Latham is compact and technically hard to fault too much.

I think you're too hard on Latham sometimes but it does nicely balance out the free ride he tends to get at times because of the above.

if there's no leg spinner around colins technique is fine. he can score runs anywhere, he's just a moron with an away record of 3 tests against yasir shah.

latham has every opportunity to prove me wrong by tonning up against england, australia or india this summer. prefferably more than once. but he won't.
