If Australia until a bit before lunch tomorrow they'll literally have 70-80 overs to bowl England out. Okay, not the absolute gimme that Edgbaston was, but still a good attack would back itself to win the game a lot of the time.

That's a bad shot there.
I'll be happy if we make it to tea at this stage.

Huge opportunity for Paine to show the doubting fans that he deserves to be there, and he's not just a token captain

Yeah it's just for that to happen when you're already 4 down (and now 5 down).

Great areas but not a great shot. This is a really important innings for Paine given that he's kept and captained pretty poorly so far in this series.

Probably?

I shared a dorm with the heirs to a brewery and vodka distillery

There’s nothing probably about it
Yeah we were definitely all drunk a lot, but had we mastered drunk posting to the point where most of our CW posts were drunk, or we were doing amateur things like partying and meeting people in real life back then?

Big think.

Exactly the sort of shot which has killed us in England for a decade. Nothing sort of loose attacking drive to a ball which is not there to drive.

So weird how Broad can turn it on at will. It’s like he’s seriously good but chooses to be mediocre most of the time.

Lead of 50 or so will make things quite interesting. England may take a few risks in trying to set a target.

The bloke has played 120+ Tests and has taken 450+ wickets so who are we to argue but it is wild that they're talking about him finally having grokked "bowl fuller" given the discussions happening here in, like, 2011.

Virtually all his magic spells have come when out of the blue he has pitched it up a yard or so more and caused havoc. He can do it, just hasn't often enough.

Earlier than that even. Both CW and the commentator class thought 09 at the Oval would get him bowling full consistently.
