Smith is amazing. But he is a guy who genuinely looks like he can dislocate both elbows and collar bones when leaving the ball. Like a marvel movie.. you watch it once but you would go back to it again.
I watch Marvel movies, and Steve Smith batting, over and over and over again. Doubt that I'm the only one too.

It's great that you have your opinion but not sure why you're trying to force it on everyone else

"x is a wanker" is not exactly a rare occurrence

I doubt there are many players haven't filled that x over the years
Anyone in the crowd who accidentally hits a beachball over onto the field cops it tbh

I just remember it most vividly as a kid when Pakistan toured

Shoaibs a wanker started in 1999. Remember my U/8s team chanting it at our club games coz we thought it sounded so cool

Great stuff from Smith. Lovely story of what can be achieved through equal opportunity employment.

In this time of political polarization and corrosive popularism the only thing left to do is force opinions on others.

As in he was confused about the rule? Or thought that should have stayed the rule.

In a book he wrote that I have, he recalls multiple times not giving l.b.w.s because the ball wasn't pitching wicket-to-wicket, and even telling the bowler so on the field.

This was in spite of the fact that the balls could pitch outside off since the 30s, and the batsman could be hit outside off stump (without offering a shot) since the 70s

They got Smith out then served up pies.

Do we know if Anderson passed a proper fitness test or declared himself fit?

How the hell did no-one ever put him right on that? Or did the yafter a while and he eventually got it right?
