That games was last week. Sibley made 74 and 30 to be the best bat

But equally, Sibley was dropped on 3 in the first innings, in the slips, and an absolute dolly it was too. so if that was taken, he'd have made 3 and 30. It does make a joke of the Lions set up though that the selectors seem to be quite unwilling to pay attention to the match, and instead go with the two openers from the winter who did ok (and 1 was only in the squad based on OD form last year in Denly), and a ODI player who has never played at the top of the order in 4 day cricket, instead of the likes of Crawley/Sibley/Hain, who have been scoring bucket loads in the county game, and then done well in the lions game.

We always do as expected, start with a 30/3 then either full collapse or a nice counter attack to somehow claw ourselves to 300 ish. Very predictable.
