...why should fielding captains cop all the blame for slow over rates

They factor in things outside of the fielding side's control ehen assessing if the over rate is acceptable, so those things shouldn't matter

Whoever replaces Macca as batting coach, I hope he addresses the strike rotation issue NZ have at the moment. Feels like the top order bats out waaay more dot balls than most of the other top sides.
