Zampa needs to work on his batting he like a rabbit number 11
We have 3-4 rabbits in our line up. But I wouldn't say they need to work on their batting. They are in the team for taking wickets and that's what they should work on.

We all like to crack criticisms and all, but scoring 316 in a chase like this is not at all easy. Finch, Smith, Khawaja, Maxwell, Carey all did superbly.
Superb is strong for Finch & Khawaja but yeah they batted pretty decently.

Mentally weak from Kohli. India no longer favourites.
Yup, who plays cricket like that, it's enough to make the opposition uncomfortable. One shouldn't stand for it. If they meet again in the final, expect the Aussies to come hard at Kohli with send offs to boot.

This game is a shadow of McGrath getting the ball to bounce at 5 feet height from fuller length with only Tendulkar being able to negotiate the bounce a bit before getting out for 30 something.

Congrats India.

Warner to blame. There's no way an ODI batsman on a good batting deck, chasing 350, should be striking lower than 80. Aus would have loved to have those wasted 14 deliveries back.

Warner was partially to blame, but shipping 350 plus to begin with did it too. It’s a strange time of career to try to transform into Bill Lawry. Put a lot of pressure on Smith and Finch.

The difference was the fifth/ sixth bowler. Neither leg spinner is really much chop, but one of them landed it in the batsman’s half sand Stoinis was expensive too. Starc a rare off day but thy can be forgiven in light of his record.

Also, India’s ground fielding in the circle was excellent. They thoroughly deserved their win.

I’d bring in Lyon for Zampa after last night, and think about Carey to six and playing a genuine fifth bowler with Stoinis dropping out. Depends on the conditions I suppose.

I don't think I can understate how important Carey's drop was. If he'd taken that catch the momentum would be in Australia's favour. Dropping Pandya probably cost us 30 runs in the end. 320 is a much more chaseable total than 350. In that moment the pressure switched back to Australia and our bowlers could never keep up.

Warner batting at a strike rate of 66 in this day and age is perplexing. I didn't see the innings and I understand the need to keep wickets in hand but Warner had passed 50. His strike rate should have been at least 80 at that point. He needs his psychiatrist to clear his head.

He wasn’t just struggling to hit boundaries, he was labouring to even hit gaps. A couple of terrific efforts in the in field and the pressure went on him, then he just kept hitting fielders all day.

Sounds like mental problems as much as anything else.
