I am just scared of Bhuvi. Pitch has nothing in it for him.
Nah, if anything the slight slowness of the pitch allows for more cutters/slower balls to be effective, with a customany Finch wicket right at the start he can be useful if he bowlers smartly.

My preference was Dhoni at 4 followed by Jadhav, Pant and Pandya. Dhoni the best option for that #4 position that India has been trying to fill for last 5-6 years.
Yes Dhoni is ideal at 4 outside of a situation we had today where Pandya was the obvious choice.

Finding solace by imagining Pak beating India for the first time next Sunday and the ensuing India media melt down. Doubt it would happen.

I am not prepared for the smugness that would ensure if Australia chase this but god, I'd love to see some heads explode, including Kohl's.

Australia needs to take this way deep. They don’t need to go at 8-10s in the first dozen to chase this. They need to see off Bumrah then make like some of the old ducks at the Swinging Magnum back in the 90s and go after Hardik.

Yep, a steady 115-1 in the first 20 keeps Australia well in it. They played our leggies well in the last series in India.

International Regular
India's openers have been very very disciplined. Ominous signs for the opposition when Sharma of all people can't be goaded into impulsiveness.
