I'd say that only stretches back as far as the last game though. Any bigger time period and Rashid takes piles more wickets.

They main problem with dropping Moeen is that it's completely joyless.

Tom Curran should feel very aggrieved not to be considered in the top four seamers too.

Woakes 7 followed by Plunkett and Rashid feels a lot weaker than Moeen, Woakes, Plunkett.

If they were going the way of leaving out Moeen then surely Curran had to come in to play 8.

At the risk of derailing the thread, no, not remotely. Also, 'God save the King' wasn't a thing until the mid 18th century
