Roy looks great, but that means nothing. He is capable of getting out at any point in time.

It's not so easy to lose a game in the first 10 overs when bowling, but Bangers giving it a good nudge here.

Duck this English team is awesome the way they can win matches in the first 10 overs. I know I'm supposed to hate them, but the juggernaut is compelling

You lot need to give the bowling side more credit than just assume England will smash them like this all game. It's not like they're playing Australia

Wow, despite an iffy first 5 overs England after 13 overs already a good shout for 400 here.
Not sure it was that iffy. Clearly they didn’t want to lose a wicket early on so spent some time to play themselves in and have the added bonus of using up Shakib’s overs up. For him to have now bowled 7 out of the first 15 and us to have 101-0 on the board is massive.

England plan is clear: play Shakib out safely, and then go after the likes of Mortaza.

The good news for other teams is that Roy has by now exhausted his quota of luck.

Though it must me said that this Roy is very good at cashing in once he survives his extended iffy period at the start.

Have to say i was surprised by all the talk of BD being pegged for the semis by so many here. They are volatile under pressure and their bits and pieces bowling will only grow more ragged as the tournament wears on.

It seems I have been mistaken, but I never clocked Paul Nixon slogging a boundary for us to chase 143 in a group stage game was a magic world cup moment. Turns out I was wrong
