Nah, that's total rubbish.Seriously though, give me 400 v 400 over this everytime. I hate the meme that big scores are somehow boring and teams collapsing for 110 is peak cricket or something
Yeah, one side getting shot out just makes for terrible cricket. ODI cricket needs decent scores.Seriously though, give me 400 v 400 over this everytime. I hate the meme that big scores are somehow boring and teams collapsing for 110 is peak cricket or something
It had Sri Lanka getting to ~220 when they were 6/80 or something.Score predictor: 246
Nobody said that.Seriously though, give me 400 v 400 over this everytime. I hate the meme that big scores are somehow boring and teams collapsing for 110 is peak cricket or something
West Indies v England recently where they got 400 each was one of the most enjoyable games for me as a viewer in recent memory.Nah, that's total rubbish.
It's fun if it happens once in a while....or the other side has the bowling to defend a low total. This just sucks.Yeah, one side getting shot out just makes for terrible cricket. ODI cricket needs decent scores.
I'd take the Nuwan Kulasekera match over that.West Indies v England recently where they got 400 each was one of the most enjoyable games for me as a viewer in recent memory.
The thing is more often than not when the team batting first gets under 220 the chasing side canters home. Matches like the '99 WC SF are great sure, but extremely rare. I get way more excited on average if a chasing team has a big total to reel inNobody said that.
Cricket should be a gladiatorial battle between bat and ball. When the balance swings too far in either direction the game is poorer for it.
In Tests, definitely. The batsman should be favoured a bit in LO cricket though.Nobody said that.
